Just north of Viana there is a series of small valleys, formed by small streams, dotted with vineyards, small cornfields and ancient olive trees. This all creates a unique landscape, far from the stereotype of the typical seas of Rioja vines. This is the source of Valdebarón. Wines which grow in shallow soils on slopes which produce plants with very small sized grape berries but high concentration. In every one of these grapes there is a little bit of Valdebarón.
