Barrel ageing lasted for 14 months in American and French oak 225-litre barrels, of an averageage of 2.5 years and médium toast.
This wine went through a maceration and fermentation process lasting for 15 days, with malolactic conversion taking place in concrete tanks. Furthermore, weaged this wine in bottle for a further 12 months before release.
Bright ruby red, powerful on then ose combining red berrieswith spices and cedarwood, this wine shows a structured character, on both nose and palate as well as a both weighty and elegant mouthfeel and well-balanced aromas of cassis, ripeplums and liquorice complemented by complex oaky aromas. Long and fresh after taste. Great with red meat either grilled or roasted, as well as cured cheese and spicy Asian dishes.
